FAQ

  • How long does a typical remodel take?

Timelines vary based on scope and material selection.

Most standard bathroom remodels take 2 to 3 weeks once demolition starts.

Larger or more custom projects may take longer, especially if specialty materials or layout changes are involved

  • What materials do you recommend for bathrooms?

We typically recommend ceramic or porcelain tile and waterproof LVP depending on the space, budget, and usage. We help guide material selection to balance durability, maintenance, and style.

  • Do you offer free estimates?

Yes! Every project begins with a free on-site (or virtual estimate if needed at the time) where we assess your space, materials, and timeline.

  • Can you replace my old tub with a walk-in shower?

Absolutely! This is one of our specialties.

We handle demolition, waterproofing using Schluter systems, and tile installation start to finish.

  • Do you remove old flooring before installation?

We do. You can send us inspiration photos, and we’ll match your vision using professional tile layout software.

  • Do you require a deposit?

Yes. We use a structured payment schedule to keep projects moving smoothly and materials secured.

    Payment Schedule

    • 40 percent deposit due at project start

    • 30 percent due after waterproofing is completed

    • 30 percent balance due after project completion and final walk through

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We take cash, card, and most major payment apps.

Preferred Payments: Cash, Jobber Invoice, Zelle.

  • Is my estimate locked in?

Estimates are based on visible conditions and the current scope of work and are valid for 30 days.

  • Are permits included in the estimate?

Permits are not included unless specifically listed in your estimate. If permits are required, we will discuss this with you before work begins!

  • What causes project delays?

While we do our best to stay on schedule, delays can occur due to weather, material shortages, or third party work outside of our control.

  • What if you find hidden issues once work begins?

Some conditions cannot be identified until demolition starts, such as floor leveling needs, cracked concrete, plumbing changes, or drain relocation.

We recommend planning for a 20 to 30 percent contingency allowance to cover unforeseen issues. Any additional work will be discussed and approved through a written change order before proceeding.
